Looks amazing once it’s on, but I have a couple complaints and there are a few things that I would like to have been different:1. Very hard to get over hips. I would have liked the zipper/hook-and-eye closure to extend down the torso a couple more inches to allow for a little less of a struggle to get over my butt.2. Speaking of the hook-and-eye closure, there seem to be too few and far between. Only time will tell if the individual closures will survive the force of being stretched without the reinforcement additional adjacent closures would provide.3. As at least one other reviewer has mentioned, the shoulder straps seem short, but it may simply be the underbust is too low on my torso because this was designed for shorter women.4. The open gusset is great, but I would appreciate if it extended a little further back so I wouldn’t have to doff no matter what kind of bathroom business I needed to do.The product is great from the waist up, but the lets are seriously loose they are like 5 sizes bigger than the rest of the item.I have owned three styles of Fajas Salome and this one is the most uncomfortable. I must admit that I am fairly tall, and I believe this garment is made for a petite frame. Instead of the garment fitting closely around the ribcage as depicted, on me, it sits mid-waist, leaving a roll of skin exposed. I removed the straps and wear these like shorts, but they are still uncomfortable and unflattering. If you are tall like me, check out Salome's other Fajas and my reviews of them.I love that it covered the entired body.Great quality but runs extra small couldn’t latch all the hooks let alone move. This is the second Salome I've purchased and have absolutely loved the design and fit! This is a tight compression garment, which I prefer. I’m 5’4” 145, Bust 38, waist 30, Hip 38. I found the sizing chart spot on but I have a more hour-glass shape and the waist is TIGHT. A more apple-shaped person would likely have a very difficult time closing the front hooks and zipper. The fabric is sturdy, well stitched and holds compression well even after several hand washings. There is some slight easing of the compression after several days of wear but still provides a much firmer fit then Spanx. At age 50 and having to deal with drooping skin and less firm muscle tone, I find these body-shapers really help my looks and confidence! I wear both the size Large and medium. The medium is worn when I want a tighter, slimmer profile under dresses and pants. I wear the size large for more comfort and find it is breathable enough to be worn as a base-layer under fitted ski pants. The best features for me are the adjustable shoulder straps, the hook and zip closure up the front and the open potty hole. If I could make 2 recommendations it would be to enlarge the potty hole another inch or so to allow for #2. I'd also suggest tightening up the fit at the knees . . . both the medium and the large sizes on me are rather loose at the knee and tend to bunch up under tighter fitting pants.I bought this faja about 3 months ago and can confidently say that it is the most slimming girdle I have ever had. However, there is always a price to the price. It is INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. I love the feeling of being cinched in, but this will leave deep marks in your shoulders and back of your knees (if you have thick calves like me), as well as your upper-most inner thigh. It will make you look like a million bucks though. It cannot be worn with any dress unless it goes below the knee. Best worn with the strap that connects both bra straps in the front, so NO low cut tops unless you are willing to let the straps KILL you. This does eliminate a lot of options, but I wore this with yoga pants and my bf couldn’t tell I had it on. I’ve never looked so cinched and had NO cellulite show. If you have a lot of back fat, you will be fine. I got the XL and I’m a size 14, I may order a larger size to see if I can wear it with my wedding dress. The one with shorts is more comfortable but visible through some clothing. The best shareware ever! It took me awhile to put it on the first time, but it gave me true hourglass figure and great posture. The only complaint is that shoulder straps could be a little more stretchy, because after 30 mins they start to cut into the shoulder.A little about my figure. I am standing 5.'4" tall. My waist is generally 30 and hips are 40 inches plus or minus inch now and then, but always proportionally. My thighs, though are about 2 inches too thick. The extra on the thighs pulls my buttcheeks to the sides and down, which is pretty common for 40+ years old woman. Plus, after my cesarean procedure I have a small fat roll right above the scar, and it's too stubborn to go away. Most shapers I tried were tight enough in my butt, butt a little too lose in my waist, and way too tight on my thighs. Neither of them were long enough to cover knees (another storage box for fat and extra skin), so I could clearly see the bottom cutting through my leg right above the knee making my legs look like I have knee pads on!I fought with this shaper for 10 minutes, adjusting every piece of fabric inch by inch, it was oh so tight! I thought it was too small, but this was my second order (first was sz S), and I was impatient :). When I finally squeezed myself in I looked 1000% better! Worth the price! All of the extra thigh was pulled in and up, giving a round, lifted buttock. And my waist was 2inches smaller in this shaper. I do realize that this does not make me lose inches, really. And the smaller waist is happening because my ribs and organs are being squeezed a little too tight. So it's not for a long wear. But it's a good reminder to tighten your stomach and straighten your shoulders.I was actually complimented by a woman on my figure in this shaper. She wanted to take a profile pic of my body. So, it's worth the money, if you ask! This product is horrible fit. On the stomach area is ok, but on the legs it is really wide. My jeans are way more tight that this product. On the knees is so wide that it doesn't touch them anyhow. Also the fabric on the legs is super thin.I have seen other customers with the same reviews. Apparently the seller doesn't bother to make the quality of his product better at all.Shame, for the price of it I was expecting good product overall. This one is uselessI found the legs are much wider than the rest of of garment so you are not receiving compression on your legs... I feel the design doesn't fit a person's shape if you are curvy, you need to ne completely straight to wear this... I bought a fantastic one at Eurosugical Ltd hooks u in on the sides then zips you in perfect if you in pain.Had to go a size small than My normal size but very happy with resultsit's hard to put on but immediately I managed to put it on, it did the job of giving a good, firm and lovely curve that I wanted. I am originally a size 18, after putting it on, my size 16 dress fits me.Waste of money, poorly made, stitching no good, and no returns DO NOT BUY
